We spend Father's Day at the Oregon Coast and the weather was just right. The place was Otter Rock, just inside the cove near Devil's Punchbowl. This is a well kept secret where you can go to escape much of the coastal winds while still enjoying the surf. Many surfers were also out, and we had staked our claim to much of the little cove. The kids played in the surf, and I flew my trick kite until the string broke. Even Daisy the dog got into the fun, chasing seagulls and fetching the frisbee.
